We are the first point of contact for children’s illnesses and injuries
A one-stop resource for children’s health

We provide general pediatric care and allergy treatment.
Our role as a “one-stop shop for children’s illnesses” is to accurately diagnose any abnormalities in your child that you may have noticed, and to determine the specific condition and treatment plan to ensure early treatment and a speedy recovery. Based on this assessment, we will refer you to specialized medical departments such as otolaryngology, surgery, or ophthalmology as needed. Because we are a pediatric department, we specialize in diagnosing and managing children’s illnesses.
To give an example, if a child comes to the clinic with an earache, conditions treatable with ear drops can be managed in the pediatric department. However, if the condition involves inner ear trauma or requires surgical intervention, the specialized expertise of an otolaryngologist is necessary. Making these distinctions is part of the specialized expertise of a pediatrician.
How is this different from other specialized medical care?

Pediatrics is the medical specialty that deals with children’s illnesses.
Pediatrics is one of the medical specialties. However, unlike other specialties, pediatricians are not limited to treating only conditions within their specific field; they are equipped with a broad range of knowledge to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries across various areas. That said, if specialized diagnostic or treatment equipment not available at the hospital is required, patients are promptly referred to a specialist in that field.
Pediatrics serves as the first point of contact for children’s illnesses and injuries.

A Message from the Director

江口 尚彦 EGUCHI Naohiko
Pediatrician
Allergist
Delegate, Okayama Prefectural Medical Association
Director, Okayama City Medical Association
Hello, I’m Naohiko Eguchi, the clinic director.
The children call me “Dr. Koala.” I was born and raised in Okayama City.
It has always been my passion and dream to provide outpatient care and bring peace of mind to the local community. To that end, after working in the pediatric departments at Okayama University Hospital, National Fukuyama Hospital, Ako Central Hospital, Kojima Municipal Hospital, and the National Hospital Organization Okayama Medical Center, I opened Eguchi Pediatrics on July 1, 2005.
I strive to treat every patient with the same care and dedication I would give to my own family, ensuring they receive the best possible medical care.
“Maximum results with minimal treatment”
With this motto in mind, we will strive to earn the trust of families by keeping in mind the future of their children—10 or 20 years down the road.
You can find Eguchi Pediatrics from space

Because we’re a pediatric clinic, we want to do something that sparks the imagination.
With that in mind, to celebrate our 20th anniversary, we’ve installed a landmark so that Eguchi Pediatric Clinic can be spotted even from space. We’re sure this will help alien children find their way to Eguchi Pediatric Clinic, too.
