A Request to Our Patients and Their Families

We have compiled a list of requests for patients and their families when visiting the hospital. We ask that you please read through this information.

  • Patients with fever

Seasonal infectious diseases are on the rise. Our clinic will continue to follow strict protocols when examining patients with fever. We kindly ask that all patients wear a mask when visiting the clinic, especially if you have a severe cough or a fever. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have forgotten your mask, please ask a staff member at the reception desk, and we will provide one for you.

  • People with high fever, severe fatigue, or severe vomiting
  • If you have a severe headache or know someone close to you who has an infectious disease
  • People with severe coughs or sore throats

If any of these apply to you, please wait in the designated waiting area for patients with fever, and a staff member will then escort you to the testing booth. We will guide you to the booth when it is your turn. Additionally, to help prevent the spread of infection in the community, we ask that you refrain from leaving the premises while waiting.

  • One adult may accompany one child.

The clinic gets very crowded. The more people there are, the higher the risk of infection. Please limit accompaniment to one adult per child. If siblings who are not receiving treatment are with you, please speak with a staff member.

Important Notes While Waiting

  • Please be sure to wear a mask while inside the facility.

If you or anyone accompanying you—such as family members—experience symptoms such as a fever, cough, sneezing, vomiting, or a sore throat when visiting our clinic, please inform our staff before checking in. We also ask that both patients and their families wear masks at all times. Diseases such as the flu are highly contagious. We ask that everyone be mindful of cough etiquette and infection prevention protocols, not only for your own sake but also for the sake of other patients and their families who are visiting the clinic.

The clinic is divided into a clean zone and an isolation and testing area, which is separated by ventilated partitions. There are currently infectious diseases posing a threat, such as COVID-19, which is seeing a resurgence in cases. If you have symptoms, testing may take some time, but we prioritize your absolute safety above all else.

Please “see a doctor first” rather than “go to school first.” It is also important to take precautions against infectious diseases, such as the flu, which is circulating out of season, as well as against sudden temperature changes.
